About the Role:

Responsible for collecting, organizing, entering and summarizing grant data relevant to the delivery of health care and public health services in Lake County.

Location: 3010 Grand Ave, Waukegan, IL

Hours: Monday-Friday (8:30 am-5:00 pm)

Skills and Experience

  • Support project teams in the collection and submission of quantitative and qualitative data evaluating Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center grant-funded programs.
  • Develop interactive, educational/informational materials for staff regarding results of data reports. May include presentations, spreadsheets, reports, etc.
  • Assist in the training of new and existing staff in program evaluation/data collection methods/protocols.
  • Provide ongoing support to staff implementing evaluation programs including prompts/reminders for when data collection is due.
  • Manage multiple program evaluation efforts concurrently. Complete work in an accurate, timely manner.
  • Participate in staff meetings, in-service trainings, and seminars to facilitate professional growth.
  • All other duties as assigned

Education, Qualifications, and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in public health, public policy or related field.
  • One or more years’ experience collecting and analyzing quantitative data.
  • Advanced communication skills including publication creation and public speaking.
